The job search still hasn’t gotten anywhere. I’m going to do what I can to avoid going on unemployment, but that seems to be the direction I’m heading in. Aw crap.
I now seem to have 2 blogs – this one and the “real” one. I’m gonna see if there’s anything I can do to change that. I’m also hoping to do some re-designing of the site, but it all depends on whether or not I can change the file extensions in Radio. If you don’t know what this means, don’t worry – it’s all backend stuff that I worry way too much about.
So, I’m off to worry about this weekend (family stuff, helping someone with their computer, and trying to get some more sleep. Have any suggestions/comments? Let me know.

Not much new to report on the job front. You can see todays blog for a little more detail. Have an interview tomorrow, and some phone calls to make in the afternoon to follow up on some of the resumes I’ve submitted and such.
In case you didn’t notice, I resurrected cam2 – it’s now on my laptop. If I’m working and I remember, I’ll plug in and let you all peep.
Well this sucks. I’m a dot com layoff now. The recession (yes, President (despite the fact that the country didn’t really elect you) George W. Bush, we’re heading into one) doesn’t help, nor does the events of 9/11/01. It was good ride, but now I have to move on – a wife, two kids and a third on the way don’t allow me time to be pissed or dwell on this. I will move on, I will find another job, and I’ll get on with my life. No choice about it. No regrets either – it was a good place to work, and I think I’d actually go back there again if I had a chance. More thoughts [here]. [poll]
