…is that they’re not entirely reliable. My wife is on her way to my office to drop off the kids because the baby-sitter doesn’t appear to be coming. We thought we had told her to come, but she’s not home so we don’t know. When in doubt, contingency plans take over. (added the next day: turns out I thought the wife had asked her to come, the wife thought I did, so nobody did. oops!)
In other news….. well, there’s not much else. The holiday flu is slowly overtaking the family. Noah is NOT sleeping well, and when he does sleep, it’s in our bed. When he’s not sleeping, he’s punching me in the face. Dang kids. If he wasn’t sick, I know he’d sleep thru the night…. ugh. Emma, on the other hand, has the flu but is sleeping fine (and, I should point out, NOT having any accidents – knock on wood). Jen’s got it, and I’m starting to get it. Running outside without my jacket to start the car probably wasn’t a good idea, but what the heck, right?
More to come later, maybe. I’m working on a redesign of sorts, so that (and family, and work) is taking precedent right now. I’m using Winders at work, so I’m getting used to seeing things in a certain size window. I might decide to take advantage of that, or I might not. If I ever get the polls working again, I’ll let you decide for me!
