    Action streams…

I just made a change to the site – I’m now including my posts to flickr and twitter to the home page. I’m sill trying to figure out if I can include them in the archives (should be possible, right?) but in the meantime, this will do the trick. I’m posting this partially to share the news – now it won’t look like I never post – and also to test it out and make sure all the loose bits have been tightened up properly.

    About

This should be the first post, but whatever. I’m going to use this area to keep my “code” up to date – yeah, right. I’ve got a MovableType plugin (del.icio.us tags) that I’ve got here, and some various and sundry PHP and Perl snippets that I’m going to unleash on the world. They will be along soon enough, I hope.

    del.icio.us tags abound…

The current version is 0.1, and is available here. This plugin was announced on my blog.
For those who use it, I’m working on a PluginManager aware version of the package.
    Details when I have them.

    del.icio.us tags redux

As you may have noticed, I’ve changed the look of the homepage a little bit: I added Technorati tags to all the posts. I also added a link to bookmark each post on del.icio.us.
But the point of all this? I’ve borrowed from someone else’s work and modified it a bit to make the same keywords that it links to technorati also link to del.icio.us.

    Thanks Mena!

Looking at my referrer logs again…. This page is coming up a lot. Mena is co-author of MoveableType, the software I use to run this so-called blog. Anyway, I’ve been checking her blog for a while (or since I started doing the beta testing of MT), and she had a contest, which I entered – color in a picture. The 2 images I sent her are, oddly enough, listed as the top 2 entries (’cause Adam’s at the start of the alphabet, natch!). I’ve been getting a lot of hits from that page.
So, is there a point to all this? Probably not. I just wanted to thank Mena for the extra hits – my blog is read by about 3 people including me, so the extra exposure sure doesn’t hurt. Now if I could just get some content….

    welcome weblogs.com viewers

I’m testing Moveable Type’s Weblogs.com pinging ability. It seems to be working just fine (Thanks Ben and Mena!).
My next task is to integrate this blog into the site, and keep the original Radio based blog going on – that’s where most of the stuff will go. I’m doing this part just so I can update the home page easily – BBEdit is cool and all, but moving blocks of text isn’t something I want to deal with right now.
BTW – have a job you want to offer me? let me know!
